We offer a range of events for all levels of experience.

So whether you want a relaxed night of entertainment sampling French Cheese and Wine, or you want to attend a Masterclass with a Master of Wine, we offer something for everyone.

We now operate at a number of bars and restaurants around Sydney, so have a look at our upcoming events, and enjoy the pleasure of wine!

Wine club

If you want to keep informed of what events we have coming up, join our Wine Club and we will keep you up to date with all that is going on.

Gift Certificates

With fun, entertaining and educational events hosted every week a Gift Certificate to the Sydney Wine Centre is the perfect gift for anyone with an interest in wine, whether they be a novice enthusiast or an experienced sipper.

Certificates can be made out for a value amount, a particular event or a style of event. Our certificates are valid for 1 year so the lucky recipient will be sure to find an event that suits their own wine journey.

Email Tim or click on the calendar entry on 31/12/13 to arrange an individual gift.

Private Parties - Corporate Events

Whilst our public events are always extremely popular we greatly enjoy creating memorable events for private groups and companies. Thus if you are organising a Corporate Function, a Team Building Day, throwing a Hens Party/Bucks Party or simply want to organise a group of friends to have a fun night out then contact us and let us help you create an event that every guest will find truely memorable.

We can host events at our specially fitted room in Annandale, come to your own boardroom or dining room or recommend restaurants to suit every occasion. So whether it is a cocktail style event for 200+ people, a Wine Dinner for 30 or an intimate Masterclass for 10 we are able to cover everything including venue, wine, food, presentation and personalised gifts, thus taking all the pressure off you.

Email Tim to discuss any event you have in mind.

Events in 2014

In 2014 we have split our events into 2 broad categories

Discover Events are intended as relaxed and entertaining events whereas the Explore Events are slightly more advanced tastings.

An overview of the types of events that we will hold in 2014 include:

Our  4 Week and 1 Day Wine Appreciation Courses with Rob Geddes. Rob, who was the 3rd Australian to achieve the Master of Wine title takes guests through an informative and entertaining journey through the world of wine. Perfect for anyone who enjoys wine but is looking to take that enjoyment to the next level. The aim is to have guests knowing what they like and why and feeling confident choosing a wine in any situation.

The French Cheese and Wine Nights (Discover Level) with Simon Johnson Provedores. These will continue to be held monthly although spaces for these events are limited so register early to make sure you don't miss out.

Sporting themed tastings which give us a chance to combine 2 of our great loves, sport and wine.

Our Tour de France Nights have been hugely popular for years now and are being repeated a number of times this year.

A repeat of our successful Discover International Wines Tasting Series.

A continuation of our specific Grape Variety and Regional Tastings (Explore Level)

Check out the Upcoming Events section on the right to see specific dates or click on the Calendar section to see all the events.

If you would like more details about any events please send us an email

Terms and Conditions of Events and Delivery Policy

All attendees at events hosted by the Sydney Wine Centre must be at least 18 years of age and respect our strict adherence to RSA principals.

Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 18 years of age.

All attendees must confirm their places at events by completing a booking form that is sent on registration of interest, in order to attend events.

Once a booking form is completed and payment made this booking form acts as a confirmation of booking.

Payments accepted in AUD only.

If you are unable to attend an event you may transfer to any other event provided 7 days notice is given.

For private bookings a 25% deposit is required to reserve a function date.

Full payment is required 7 days prior to the event with final numbers confirmed at this time (changes of 10% allowed).

Functions can be held for groups between 10 and 100 people (min $500)

If notice is given within 7 days, a 50% fee will be charged to change events.

If for some reason an event is cancelled you will be given a full refund.

Bookings, Cancellations and Refunds

Public events and courses at the Sydney Wine Centre are generally structured tastings with limited spots available.

Thus at all events, unless otherwise stated, a booking is only confirmed when payment details for that booking have been received.

We understand that there can be situations where people will be unable to attend after having confirmed a booking. Wherever possible we will try to ensure that in this event, the guest(s) are replaced and if this occurs a full refund or transfer will be offered.

However in the event of a cancellation within 7 days of an event, if we are unable to find a replacement for the cancelled booking, we are unable to guarentee a refund or transfer. We will however attempt to come up with a solution that is agreeable to all parties through a late notice program or refer a friend option. We appreciate your understanding on this difficult topic
