This night aims to reveal the mystery of food and wine matching. Is it an art? Or is it a science?

If you've ever wanted to learn about food and wine matching, or learn about the classic wines of Australia, this is the perfect evening for you.

We provide specialist tasting books to help guide you through the wines of the evening. 

9 Wines will be tasted, with each wine being paired with a matching bite to eat. Each month the food and wine pairings will be different but you can expect little dishes such as cheeses, oysters, meat pies and lamb cutlets to feature.

Be led through this Riedel Masterclass by Adam Hunter, the NSW Sales Manager for RSN Australia

Adam will take you on a journey using 4 different wines presented in a variety of glasses and whilst it may well seem like smoke and mirrors at the onset you will be truly amazed by the effect that the correct glass makes to the taste and enjoyment of the different wines. You really do have to experience if first hand to truly believe it.

The correct term is Performance Sensory Workshop but that makes it sound dull and boring and this evening is anything but….

As our gift to you, you will leave with a pack of 4 Riedel glasses or stems as the people from Riedel like to refer to them, valued at $200 (more than double the price of admission alone)

This event is part of our Entertainment series focussed on providing a relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable night’s entertainment built around great wine and matching food.

We will lead you on a one night journey around France with 9 French wines and 9 specially selected matching French cheeses from Simon Johnson.

Taste wines from the classic French wine regions including Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, The Loire Valley, Alsace and Côtes du Rhône

This tasting is as enjoyable for a novice with no formal wine tasting experience as it is for someone who has years of experience.

Discover Spanish Wine ($95)

Join us for a one night tour of Spain as we take you on a virtual tour of the country. 

Learn about the classic Spanish wines and regions, and food and wine matching, in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

On arrival you will be handed a glass of wine and given the chance to sample some Spanish cheeses and antipasto. 

You will then be led through 12+ Spanish wines, along with tapas matched to each flight of wine. Don't be sucked in by other events tasting just 6 or 9 wines. Instead allow us to guide you through the whole country showing a range of wines from great value affordable wines to the classics that the country has built its reputation on. 

Whilst each event is unique, you can expect to be guided through 2 flights of dry sherry, sparkling and white wines before a flight of regional reds followed by a flight of wines revealing the classifcations of the Rioja region. We will then finish with a PX wine to wrap up the evening.
