Corporate Events - Private Parties

It's coming up to that time of year where we have to do the right thing and have a day out of the office with our colleagues for team building purposes. If that's the plan why not let us at the Sydney Wine Centre take care of all the work so that all you have to do is drink wine and enjoy yourselves.

We can tailor any of our tastings or events to suit your group. Whether it be a sparkling tasting for a hens day/baby shower, a Tour de France tasting for a birthday night or a Regions of Australia for a corporate team we are able to create an event that is sure to wow even the fussiest of guests/colleagues.

A little bit of education and a lot of fun, what more could you want.

Email Tim to discuss any event you have in mind.

If you have never been or felt like there was something missing when you have gone on your own then jump on board the Sydney Wine Centre's magical bus trip to the Hunter Valley.

Get in behind the scenes and experience the Hunter Valley from the other side of the velvet rope. Private tastings, lunch with the winemakers, reserve and aged wines. Departing Sydney at 9am the Tour involves private tastings at 3 wineries on the Saturday including a special chance to share lunch with a winemaker, overnight accomodation suited to your budget, breakfast and 2 more private tastings and lunch on Sunday before arriving back in Sydney by 7pm.

A perfect way to spend the weekend enjoying wine.

Pinot Noir Masterclass

26th August will be the night to indulge on one of the most debated Grape varietals in the world.

This masterclass will allow participants to taste wines from France, New Zealand and Australia to see what affect the terrior of the three countries has on the most challenging yet rewarding of grapes. Will the Burgundy classics hold up as the benchmark wines of this variety? Do Central Otago wines have the body to match their fruit or have the Mornington winemakers mastered the balance of acid and ripeness? All of this will be answered and more.

10 premium pinots? Yes

Fine French cheeses? Yes

Matched with delectable Mirrool Creek Lamb? Yes

Once again hosted by Rob Geddes, this is a night not to be missed as we explore the subtleties of this hedonistic style and attempt to determine the validity of the statement “where as God made Cabernet, the Devil created Pinot Noir".
